According to a report published by MARCA, the race for Brazilian wonderkid Endrick is set to enter its final, decisive stages. Real Madrid and PSG have sent scouts to Brazil to make a final report on the teenager, and the overall impression has been largely positive.

Barcelona are also in the race for his signature, with Xavi openly admitting that he has already spoken to the player, explaining the club’s sporting project to him.

“We have been talking to his father and also directly with the player. I explained the project we have at Barcelona. We want talent and he is a talent, capable of making a difference,” Xavi said.

“He has the goal, he has the dribbling, he has a brutal ability to make a difference. He is a player of the present, who is already playing in the Brazilian league, and also of the future,” he added.

Despite Xavi’s words, Barcelona are trailing PSG and Real Madrid in pursuit of Endrick. As per Endrick’s father, Douglas, the French capital outfit are the only team that have spoken to Palmeiras regarding the transfer.

“PSG are the only club that opened negotiations with Palmeiras with an official proposal, as things stand,” he said“There are many clubs from different countries keen on signing him. PSG have already moved.”

Chelsea are also keen on Endrick’s signature, but there are little to no updates on that front. Interested parties may have to shell out his release clause of €60 million to sign the player in the summer, and the final decision is expected to be taken by the player himself.
