AC Milan are aiming to secure the long term future of their prized young players and Sandro Tonali should soon extend his deal, a report claims.

As reported by QS (via MilanNews) this morning, Tonali is ever closer to renewing his contract with Milan. His current agreement with the Rossoneri expires in 2026, but the club are ready to reward him for his starring role in the Scudetto win last season.

Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are ready to extend his contract for a further year (with the new deadine therefore being 2027) and as part of it the former Brescia man will get a pay rise, having taken a pay cut to help make his loan move a permanent last year.

The raise in salary should be in line with those proposed and accepted by players like Theo Hernandez and Fikayo Tomori, which would therefore be around the €3.5-4m net per season mark.
