The R's forward looks set to make his departure from Loftus Road.
QPR are set to sanction a move for out-of-favour striker Zan Celar, with three European clubs all chasing his signature.
The Julien Stephan era has not begun the way anyone connected with QPR would've been hoping for.
Winless from their opening four competitive games of the 2025/26 season in all competitions, with their most recent defeat being an embarrassing 7-1 loss to Coventry City on Saturday.
That game potentially highlighted the need for the R's to do some additional transfer business before the summer window slams shut on 1 September, and in the hours following that routing at the hands of the Sky Blues, news of a potential exit for one player has emerged.
One QPR player that was able to spare his blushes this weekend in the defeat to Coventry was Zan Celar.
Indeed, the 26-year-old centre-forward was not included in Stephan's matchday squad at the CBS Arena, and the reason for doing so appears to have become evident.
That's because a report from West London Sport has revealed that QPR are set to sanction a move away from Loftus Road for him before the 1 September deadline.
The report names German second division side Fortuna Düsseldorf, Polish club Pogoń Szczecin and Slovan Bratislava from Slovakia respectively, as all being interested in signing the Slovenian international.
It's claimed that the most likely route to a deal will be via a season-long loan deal, with a view to a permanent exit for Celar next summer.
Having signed for QPR from Swiss side Lugano last summer in a £1.7m plus £700k add-ons deal, expectations in West London were high for Celar.
However, after netting just twice in 22 total appearances for the club during his debut 2024/25 campaign, the striker failed to really stamp his authority on the starting XI.
Now with competition arriving this summer in the form of Richard Kone and Rumarn Burrell, as well as a squad that still contains the likes of Michael Frey and Rayan Kolli, and it's clear to see that Celar is some way down the pecking order.
Therefore, cutting their losses on him and freeing up a squad space for another potential new recruit before the deadline looks to be the smart thing to do if you're QPR.
Celar has only made two appearances from the opening four competitive games so far this season, and after being withdrawn on 67 minutes on the opening day v Preston, his only other action has been a 10-minute cameo from the bench in the 2-1 defeat to Watford.
