The Lancashire-based referee has officiated 21 matches so far this campaign, including four times in the Premier League, as well as overseeing 11 Sky Bet Championship fixtures.

Bond has been in the middle for 13 matches involving the Whites previously, with Leeds winning eight and drawing twice.

The Select Group 1 official's last match involving Leeds came in 2020, where the Whites hammered Stoke City 5-0 at Elland Road on the way to the Championship title, courtesy of goals from Mateusz Klich, Helder Costa, Liam Cooper, Pablo Hernandez and Patrick Bamford.

QPR, meanwhile, have found form much harder to come by when Bond has been in the middle, winning just four times from 13 matches, losing eight.

In his last match in charge of the R's, the London outfit slipped to a 3-1 defeat away at Rotherham United during the 2022/23 campaign.
