Christian Pulisic celebrated Milan’s first victory of the season but insists the Rossoneri ‘could have scored more goals’ and are ‘not thinking’ about winning the Serie A title.
Milan made a convincing debut in the 2025-26 campaign, beating Serie B side Bari 2-0 last night, in the Coppa Italia first round.
Pulisic scored his first goal of the campaign before being subbed off at minute 66 and replaced by his compatriot Yunus Musah.

“It was a good start to the season,” Pulisic told SportMediaset via Milannews.
“We could have scored more goals, but the important thing is that we won.”
Milan have hired a new coach, Massimiliano Allegri, and won’t be involved in any European competition in 2025-26. So, do they think they can win the Scudetto this term?
“For us, the most important thing is the next match. We’re not thinking about the title already; we want to take it one game at a time,” Pulisic replied.

The American winger has just started his third season at San Siro.
The ex-Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund star was the Rossoneri’s best scorer last term with 17 goals across all competitions.
Pulisic also celebrated Milan’s win with an Instagram post, where he wrote: ‘First win of the year.’
Pulisic’s contract runs out in June 2027.
