PSV Eindhoven are reportedly in talks with Manchester City about signing left-back Angeliño on a permanent basis.
The newly-crowned Dutch champions hope to pay around €4m for the 21-year-old who has impressed in the Eredivisie with NAC Breda.
Angeliño has expressed a desire to move on from City after numerous loan spells is also being courted by Ajax, Lyon and Werder Bremen.
It was reported on Tuesday that City are open to selling Angeliño, who is behind Benjamin Mendy, Fabian Delph and Oleksandr Zinchenko in the left-back pecking order.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Pep Guardiola’s technical staff are not convinced by his defensive qualities and will look to move him on.
If Angeliño is sold, it will mean City have made the decision to sell two young full-backs who many thought had first-team potential, after Stuttgart broke their club record to sign Pablo Maffeo for €10m.
Angeliño made 34 starts in the Eredivisie this season for NAC Breda, scoring 3 goals and contributing 6 assists. He created more chances than any defender in the entire league since 2010/11.
