As reported by Florian Plettenberg, PSV are set to sign Bayern Munich attacking midfielder Malik Tillman. After discussions between the two sides, the final details are to be clarified before Tillman makes the move from Bavaria to PSV.
A one-year loan with an option to buy has been agreed between the two sides. The loan fee will generate Bayern €1m, however, if the Dutch side elect to make the move permanent, the Rekordmeister will receive a further €12m – €14m.
Last season, Tillman spent the campaign on loan at Rangers where he scored twelve goals and collected five assists in 43 appearances in all competitions. The 21-year-old would even register an assist against PSV in Champions League qualification, as the Scottish side progressed to the group stages.
With the ample supply of quality in the Bayern midfield and forward line, game-time would be hard to come by for the USA international. PSV have proven to be a phenomenal place for young players to develop, as seen in Xavi Simmons, who has recently signed for RB Leipzig on loan from PSG.
