According to the Eindhovens Dagblad, PSV and Earnest Stewart are in full talks with Sparta Rotterdam for a double deal regarding Nick Olij and Marvin Young.
The transfer of goalkeeper Nick Olij is said to have been completed. PSV will pay three million euros, which is the buyout fee stated in his contract. However, the Eindhoven team are pushing for a double deal. The Eredivisie champions are also negotiating with Sparta for Marvin Young. There is no agreement yet for the 19-year-old defender, as Sparta are looking for ‘several million’.
The lack of an agreement with Sparta about Young is also said to be the reason that Olij’s transfer has not yet been announced. However, the goalkeeper seems to be going to PSV anyway, regardless of what the defender does.
PSV would also want to pay three million for Young, but the coming days will have to show whether Sparta agrees. Earlier, there was talk about Joël Drommel, who would move in the opposite direction to lower the price. However, that transfer is no longer going ahead, which is why PSV now want to loan him out.
