Here are some of the biggest takeaways from across the Netherlands.

Champions make more history

PSV Eindhoven were already crowned as champions and finished their campaign with 91 points after a 3-1 win over RKC Waalwijk.

To make things even better, the brace scored by Luuk de Jong helped him share the Willy van der Kuijlen Trophy with Vangelis Pavlidis of AZ (29 goals each).

Plus! The club found the back of the net in every match this season - becoming the first in Eredivisie history to do so.

Ajax's turbulent season finally over

Dutch giants Ajax had a season to forget this year and their 2-2 draw with bottom-side Vitesse summed up their frustrating campaign.

They finished fifth in the table, and will play in the UEFA Conference League qualifiers. It's the lowest finish for the club since 1999-00.

Steven Berghuis scored in the 93rd minute to ensure his side didn't end on a loss. He'll surely be on the plane to the Euros this summer.

Ajax finished the season a staggering 35 points off the champions, with more losses and draws combined than wins (W15, D11, L8).

Results elsewhere

Feyenoord finished second in the table and Liverpool-bound boss Arne Slot broke the club's single-season points record with 84 points (previously 82, something he equalled last season).

Thanks to Ajax's horrid run, FC Twente managed to qualify for the UEFA Champions League play-offs.

Meanwhile, AZ Alkmaar finished fourth and reach the Europa League.

Looking at the bottom of the table, Excelsior are in a relegation play-off while FC Volendam and Vitesse drop down.
