Burkinabe defender Adamo Nagalo is set for time on the sidelines at PSV. The 22-year-old defender who has struggled with injuries, is due to undergo surgery on his shoulder, Voetbal International reports.
The summer signing from FC Nordsjaelland in Denmark, who has been capped 14 times by Burkina Faso, has been unlucky several times in recent weeks in matches he played for Jong PSV. Nagalo had to leave the pitch after half an hour with an injury in two consecutive matches. He has made just two Eredivisie appearances since signing.
In the coming period, it’s uncertain just how long he will be out. The defender responded to the news with a determined statement:
“This is a hard blow, but one that I will overcome no matter what. The operation is the best solution now. After that, I will work on my rehabilitation with heart and soul, with the aim of being of value to PSV later.”
