As the transfer deadline approaches, Paris Saint-Germain still have business to do. Les Parisiens remain attentive to potential opportunities in the market, however, much of the work is surrounding outgoings at the club.
Manuel Ugarte looks set to leave the club to join Manchester United in a deal that will be worth around €60m. The exact form of that deal (loan with purhcase obligation or a straight transfer) remains undecided. Carlos Soler is also looking to leave and is nearing a move to West Ham United.
Another player considered “undesirable” is Danilo Pereira. He is now very much on the periphery of the PSG squad and he is one of the players that Luís Campos will be looking to move on before the transfer deadline. If they can garner a good fee, even better.
They may be able to do just that with Al-Ittihad enquiring about the Portuguese centre-back, according to L’Équipe. However, in order to bring Danilo to the club, they must first sell. Jota, nearing a move to Stade Rennais, could provide the space needed to welcome the PSG centre-back.
Al-Ittihad are not so rushed to complete a deal to sign Danilo as the transfer window in Saudi Arabia does not close until 6th October.
