According to L’Équipe, Brighton are set to sign 19-year-old right-back Romaric Yapi after reportedly winning the battle against the likes of Wolves and Nîmes.
He is expected to undergo a medical and sign his first professional deal on Thursday.
The versatile Yapi, who has spent the last year with the PSG U-19s under manager Thiago Motta, has also been deployed as a right winger and a central midfielder.
Yapi is set to become the latest promising PSG youngster to leave the club in search of first-team experience.
PSG U-19 captain Raphael Nya signed with Wolves earlier this summer, while forwards Moussa Diaby and Timothy Weah left the French champions for Bayer Leverkusen and Lille, respectively.
Brighton have made signing younger players a priority this summer, having already brought in centre-back Adam Webster (24), winger Leandro Trossard (24), and forward Neal Maupay (22)
