PSG take on Tottenham Hotspur in the UEFA Super Cup final on Wednesday evening.
Luis Enrique’s side are chasing a fifth trophy of the calendar year after lifting a domestic treble and the Champions League in 2024/25.
The European champions face off against Europa League winners Spurs in Italy tonight, with both bidding to win the trophy for the first time.
Luis Enrique faces significant squad disruption ahead of the UEFA Super Cup. Gianluigi Donnarumma has been excluded from the travelling squad amid the expectation that he will leave the club this summer.
The Italy international’s contract expires next year, and he has failed to agree a new deal. Donnarumma released a statement on Tuesday confirming his imminent exit.
Lucas Chevalier is set to make his competitive debut after joining from Lille for £34.4m (€40m). The French goalkeeper earned recognition as Ligue 1’s goalkeeper of the season and will be supported by Matvey Safonov on the bench.
João Neves serves a suspension following his red card for violent conduct in the Club World Cup final against Chelsea. Senny Mayulu is receiving treatment for a thigh injury and misses out.
PSG’s preparation has been hampered by their extended involvement in the Club World Cup. Enrique’s side have not played a recognised friendly since that tournament.
Paris Saint-Germain predicted XI: Chevalier; Hakimi, Marquinhos, Pacho, Nuno Mendes; Zaïre-Emery, Vitinha, Fabián Ruiz; Doué, Dembélé, Kvaratskhelia.
Tottenham face Paris Saint-Germain at Stadio Friuli in Udine on Wednesday, 13th August 2025. Kick-off is 8 PM BST.
The UEFA Super Cup will be broadcast live on TNT Sports 1 in the UK. TNT Sports subscribers can stream the match via the Discovery+ app. International viewers can find broadcast details on UEFA’s official website.
