Paris Saint-Germain are attempting to bolster its midfield this summer, and a familiar name is resurfacing in the rumor mill. Over the past few months, Bayern Munich’s Joshua Kimmich has been linked to the Parisians.

After the file went quiet, the German player is again sounding for a potential move to the French capital. A recent report from CaughtOffside notes that Liverpool and Manchester City are keen on the veteran.

Transfer window expert Fabrizio Romano reports that PSG are really interested in Kimmich, with Premier League clubs also keen. The reigning Ligue 1 champions’ signing of Kimmich does not depend on João Neves—both are separate files for PSG.

For PSG, it’s not Kimmich or Neves – the club appreciates both players. Nonetheless, the information from CaughtOffside notes that Kimmich is not expected to be offered a new contract, so it seems that the Bundesliga side will be open to selling the player.

Kimmich’s contract expires in 2025, so this is Bayern Munich’s only window to secure a fee for the midfielder.
