Paris Saint-Germain supporters have paid their ultimate respects to Luis Enrique by remembering his late daughter during the celebrations of the Champions League final win.

In August 2019, Luis Enrique sadly issued a statement on the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) website confirming that his nine-year-old daughter Xana had died after a five-month battle with bone cancer.

He wrote: “Our daughter Xana passed away this afternoon at the age of nine years old after fighting an osteosarcoma for five intense months.

“We will miss you very much, but we will remember you every day for the rest of our lives with the hope that in future, we will meet again.

"You will be the star that guides our family.”

After guiding PSG to a dominant 5-0 thrashing of Inter Milan in the Champions League final in Munich, supporters unveiled a huge tifo inside the Allianz Arena featuring Luis Enrique's late daughter.

The tifo featured Luis Enrique and his late daughter planting a flag in the ground following Barcelona’s Champions League final win a decade ago.

A really heart-warming gesture from the PSG supporters to take a moment out from seeing their side record the biggest margin of victory in a Champions League final.

Achraf Hakimi, a brace from Desire Doue and second half goals from Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Senny Mayulu ensured PSG thumped Inter 5-0 to be crowned champions of Europe for the first time in their history.
