Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma received a great honor on Wednesday as the Italian shot-stopper is one of the names vying for the Yachine Trophy (h/t The Mirror).

The 25-year-old played a major role in PSG’s winning a domestic double (Ligue 1 and Coupe de France) and making a run to the UEFA Champions League semifinal, falling one round short of the final.

Moreover, Donnarumma was probably one of the bright spots on the Italy national team that underwhelmed. The PSG goalkeeper kept the squad in matches that they had no business being in.

Still, his effort wasn’t enough as Italy fell 2-0 to Switzerland in the Round of 16. The lack of an international trophy at either the club or national team level could keep Donnarumma from winning the Yachine Trophy this year.

Here’s the list of the nominees for the award:

Diogo Costa (FC Porto)

Gianluigi Donnarumma (PSG)

Gregor Kobel (Borussia Dortmund)

Andrei Lunine (Real Madrid)

Mike Maignan (AC Milan)

Giorgi Mamardashvili (Valencia)

Emiliano Martinez (Aston Villa)

Unai Simon (Athletic Club)

Yann Sommer (Inter Milan)

Ronwen Williams (Mamelodi Sundowns)
