PSG set price tag Gonçalo Guedes at €80m | OneFootball

Gonçalo Guedes arrived at PSG in January 2017 for €30m and was sent out to Valencia on loan in the summer.

The 21-year-old Guedes impressed heavily with the La Liga side and his parent club could look to cash in right away. With PSG’s heavy need to sell players to meet Financial Fair Play regulations and the departure of Unai Emery, Guedes may be out the door before he got a proper look in Paris.

L’Equipe published Thursday that PSG have assessed Guedes at 80m euros, after Valencia increased its offer to 40m fixed plus 10m in variables.

Valencia’s general director Mateu Alemany explained that if Guedes does not figure into new PSG boss Thomas Tuchel’s plans, there remains the possibility of extending his loan.

“The player would like to continue and has said so,” Alemany said this week.

“We believe that Valencia has been good for his personal and professional progression.”
