Mbappé’s second came from another volley, this time after playing a one-two with Achraf Hakimi before smashing into the bottom corner.
It looked as if the Ligue 1 champions were coasting at that stage but Max Allegri’s side got back into it in the second half.
Gianluigi Donnarumma came for Filip Kostić’s corner but missed the ball allowing Weston McKennie to head home but PSG held out despite Manuel Locatelli seeing his shot from six-yards out denied by a late block by Marco Verratti.
Scorers: Vinícius 58′, Modrić 59′, Hazard 77′.
Real Madrid manoeuvred their way through a tricky test in Glasgow despite losing Karim Benzema to injury.
The Frenchman had to be replaced in the first half after going done with a suspected knee problem with Celtic hitting the post after holding their own in the opening 45 minutes.
But two goals in two minutes midway through the second half took the game away from the hosts.
Federico Valverde’s low cross across goal was dispatched by Vinícius Junior before Luka Modrić wriggled through the defence before caressing the ball into the bottom corner with the outside of his boot.
Real made it three late with Toni Kroos’ lofted pass laying it on a plate for Dani Carvajal to touch the ball across goal for Eden Hazard to poke home from inside the six yard box.

Shakhtar Donetsk stunned RB Leipzig after hitting four past them in a remarkable result in Germany.
The Ukrainian side have only just starting playing competitive football again after seeing their last season cancelled and their squad depleted due to complications caused by the war in the country.
They were given a gift to break the deadlock with RB Leipzig goalkeeper Péter Gulácsi dallying on the ball, allowing Maryan Shved to pinch the ball off his feet and slot the ball into the empty net.
Mohamed Simakan equalised for Leipzig in the second half, placing in at the near post after being played in by Dominik Szoboszlai but the visitors restored their lead a minute later with Shved seeing his toe-poked effort take a huge deflection on the way in from 14 yards out.
Mykhaylo Mudryk made it three with a left-footed finish after Shakhtar broke away from a Leipzig corner before the 21-year-old laid it on a plate for substitute Lassina Traore to tap home to make it four from another counter attack.
Scorers: Haaland 21′, 67′, Foden 58′, Días 90+2′.

Benfica eased to a win over Maccabi Hafia to get their group stage campaign off to the perfect start.
Roger Schmidt’s side made the breakthrough just after half-time when Rafa Silva finished off a well-worked team move, poking home Alex Grimaldo’s cross at the near post.
Grimaldo then turned from provider to score in the 58th minute, smashing a stunning drive into the top corner from 30 yards out.

But the Blues found themselves behind after 15 minutes as the hosts sprung a stunning counter-attack with Oršić beating Wesley Fofana for pace, running through on goal and chipping the ball over Kepa Arrizabalaga.
The situation could’ve got worse for them early in the second half with Arrizabalaga having to produce a stunning one-handed save to tip Stefan Ristovki’s 25-yard effort onto the bar.
Chelsea struggled to fashion clear-cut opportunities but as the clock ticked towards added time, Tuchel’s side came close twice. First, Reece James struck the post before Mason Mount was denied by an excellent Dominik Livaković save on the follow-up.
Hakim Ziyech fired two late free-kicks straight into the Zagreb wall as the hosts held on for a historic win and pile further pressure on the Chelsea boss.

On his 17th Champions League appearance, a competition record for an English teenager, Jude Bellingham stroked home Reyna’s cutback to make it 3-0 in just over five minutes left on the clock.
Copenhagen thought they’d found a consolation goal late in the encounter as Rasmus Falk put the ball in the back of the net, only for VAR to pull play back due to an earlier offside.
