PSG Reunion? Aston Villa Eyes Veteran Midfielder to Add Another Parisian Connection | OneFootball

Aston Villa will be in the UEFA Champions League next season, so the club needs to construct a team that can compete internationally and domestically. Nonetheless, another former Paris Saint-Germain player could integrate himself at Villa Park.

The Premier League club already has Moussa Diaby and former manager Unai Emery. However, they could be looking to add another player with a history with the Parisians.

According to TuttoJuve, Aston Villa are interested in Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot, who is out of contract this summer. Emery, who coached him a few years ago at PSG and considers him an exemplary professional, has already made inquiries.

It will be interesting to see if all these three players, should Rabiot head to Villa Park, draw PSG in the Champions League’s new format next season for an interesting encounter.

The 29-year-old had made 35 appearances for Juventus this season, scoring five goals and registering three assists for the Serie A side.
