According to Foot Mercato, Paris Saint-Germain retain an interest in OGC Nice’s Kħéphren Thuram (22) and AS Monaco’s Youssouf Fofana (24).

Both French midfielders have been targets for PSG in the past. Thuram and Fofana were both heavily linked with moves to Les Parisiens in the summer, but both ultimately remained at their respective clubs. Thuram was also coveted by Liverpool. “It made me happy to be linked to all these clubs left, right and centre. Regarding what happened in the transfer window, I decided to say,” he said in a press conference, attended by Get French Football News.

Thuram added that he wanted to “continue to progress” with Les Aiglons, however, he, like Fofana just down the coast in Monaco, remain on PSG’s radar. Fabrizio Romano reported last week that “top European clubs” were tracking Fofana, who scored two goals whilst on international duty with France in November. The Italian journalist linked Fofana with Juventus and Manchester United but denied PSG’s interest in the player, whose contract runs until the summer of 2025. Fofana and Thuram are just two of the options currently being considered by PSG, according to Foot Mercato.
