Paris Saint-Germain will have to plot how they intend to replace the production that Kylian Mbappé will leave behind after he departs following this 2023-24 season. The Parisians have been linked to various players to replace the Frenchman, one of whom is Victor Osimhen.

Osimhen will likely be on the move this summer as Napoli aim to cash in on their star goal scorer. Chelsea are among the teams eyeing the Nigerian, but they’re not a clear runaway favorite for the striker.

According to Football.London’s Bobby Vincent, Osimhen is the Premier League club’s top striker target, even though PSG are now firmly in the race to sign the Nigerian striker.

A recent report revealed that Chelsea is willing to meet Osimhen’s release clause but only negotiates payment terms with Napoli. Osimhen’s release clause with the Serie A side is reportedly between €120 million and €130 million.

From a PSG perspective, the capital club will need to determine whether they don’t have a solution to replace Mbappé’s goal-scoring production before spending that amount on a player.
