The 18-year-old goalkeeper joined PSG’s youth system in 2019 having last played with Italian side Udinese’s youth sides. He has gone on to play with PSG’s U19 side. Franchi was the starting goalkeeper for PSG U19 over its UEFA Youth League group stage run last season. He made five appearances over the team’s run, including a pair of showings against Real Madrid’s U19 side.

Franchi is slated to continue to receive playing time opportunities with PSG U19. He has made some training session appearances with PSG’s first-team. So for the moment, he is eligible to feature with the first-team although the club currently has three goalkeepers in its depth chart, including starter Keylor Navas and backup talent Sergio Rico.
