According to Sports Zone, Paris Saint-Germain have made Wolverhampton Wanderers full-back Rayan Aït-Nouri (22) a priority signing for the upcoming transfer window.

With Nuno Mendes currently sidelined and prone to injury, PSG are looking for backup at left-back in January. Luis Campos has identified the position as a key area for improvement, despite the arrival of Lucas Hernandez from Bayern Munich in the summer. As a seemingly temporary measure, Layvin Kurzawa was taken out of the ‘loft’ and re-integrated into te first-team set-up to provide depth in the position, but his long-term future does not lie at the Parc des Princes.

In his search for a left-back, Campos has identified Wolves’ Aït-Nouri as the priority target. The Algerian international played a peripheral role at the Premier League club last season and attracted interest from OGC Nice, but he has featured prominently this season, starting 11 of Wolves’ 12 league games so far.

Whilst Aït-Nouri is PSG’s priority, the player’s agent, Jorge Mendes, has refused the move, according to Sports Zone. Aït-Nouri would be a rotation option with Les Parisiens, but Mendes wants long-term game-time guarantees for his client.
