Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has revealed his desire to sign Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham.

The English international has set the Qatar World Cup 2022 alight, producing consistent displays to help his side reach the quarter-finals, where they will face France.

The 19-year-old is expected to leave Dortmund for a big money move next summer, with a host of European giants circling him.

While Bellingham is valued at roughly around €150 million, his stock may even go up further because of his rich vein of form in the World Cup.

PSG president Al-Khelaifi has been left impressed with Bellingham’s potential and also stated his desire to recruit the Three Lions prospect.

“What a player,” the Qatari billionaire told RMC Sport (h/t Get French Football News).

“Honestly, England are lucky to have him and he is one of the best players in the tournament. Unbelievable! And you see that this is his first World Cup, he is calm, relaxed and confident,”

“Everyone wants him, I’m not going to hide it, but I respect his club and out of respect if we want to talk to him, we’ll talk to the club first.”

As it stands, PSG’s interest appears not to be concrete, with Liverpool, Real Madrid and Chelsea ahead of the Ligue 1 giants in the pursuit of Bellingham.

Les Parisiens’ priority is not the midfield at the moment, as they have several talented players including Marco Verratti, Carlos Soler, Vitinha, Fabian Ruiz and Renato Sanches.

PSG are in the market for a new centre-back, but it remains to be seen whether they can sign one in the January transfer window.

Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar has been the Ligue 1 champions’ long-term target, but he is now reportedly close to signing a new contract with Nerazzurri.

The French champions have identified RB Leipzig’s highly-rated defender Josko Gvardiol as an alternative option to strengthen the defence.

PSG are also one of the suitors for Joao Felix, who is expected to leave Atletico Madrid in January after falling out with manager Diego Simeone.
