With the return of Champions League action, Paris Saint-Germain will be hoping to get back on track in Group F as they play hosts to Milan at the Parc des Princes on Wednesday night. Last time out, Les Parisiens suffered a heavy 4-1 defeat at the hands of Newcastle United.

Luis Enrique is set to stick with the same formation, 4-4-2, which many people put the loss against Newcastle down to. However, this is something that the Spaniard has stuck with domestically and the formation change has yielded some positive results like their most recent match – a 3-0 win against Strasbourg. L’Équipe report that the former Barcelona boss is set to make up to 6 changes from the team who beat Strasbourg.

In defence, only Marquinhos and Lucas Hernández keep their places from the 3-0 win against Strasbourg with Milan Škriniar and Achraf Hakimi set to start in place of Carlos Soler and Danilo Pereira. Luis Enrique should make three changes in midfield two with Manuel Ugarté starting and Warren Zaïre-Emery, now recovered from injury, returning to the starting XI.

The other change in midfield should see former Lyon winger Bradley Barcola dropped in favour of Ousmane Dembélé. Kylian Mbappé started up top against Strasbourg in a partnership with Gonçalo Ramos and they should lead the line together once again when PSG face AC Milan.

PSG likely XI vs Milan:

Gianluigi Donnarumma – Achraf Hakimi, Marquinhos, Milan Škriniar, Lucas Hernández – Ousmane Dembélé, Manuel Ugarté, Warren Zaïre-Emery, Kang-in Lee – Gonçalo Ramos, Kylian Mbappé
