After heavily rotating his side against Clermont Foot on Saturday, Luís Enrique will reinstate his key players when Paris Saint-Germain face Barcelona in their UEFA Champions League quarter-final on Wednesday.
Players such as Kylian Mbappé, Ousmane Dembélé, Fabián Ruiz, Gianluigi Donnarumma and Vitinha all dropped to the bench during PSG’s 1-1 draw over the weekend, but it is expected that all will return to the starting lineup against Barcelona. The biggest doubt surrounds Bradley Barcola, who having suffered a thigh injury during the international break in March, returned to first-team training last week and completed Monday’s training session in full. That could suffice for the former Olympique Lyonnais winger to be included in the squad.
There is also uncertainty surrounding the right-back berth. Achraf Hakimi is suspended, whilst his most logical replacement, Nordi Mukiele, is out. The Frenchman suffered a head injury against Clermont, which forced him off. After tests with a neurologist, and in line the the concussion protocol, Mukiele will be rested. Either Warren Zaïre-Emery or Marquinhos could start in his place for PSG.
