Paris Saint-Germain reached the last 32 of the Coupe de France with a narrow win over second division Caen.
After a goal-less opening half, Moise Kean broke the deadlock shortly after half-time when he turned in from close range after a Neymar cross.
But Mauricio Pochettino’s men were dealt a big blow shortly afterwards when they lost Neymar to what looked to be a hamstring injury, bringing an unfortunate end to his first experience captaining the club.
However, they held on his his absence to secure a victory that was never truly in doubt in a game that saw 17-year-old Xavi Simons make his long-awaited debut for the club as a late substitute.
