Adrien Rabiot could join Barcelona this summer as PSG are lining up a big-money replacement.

The midfielder has reportedly already held talks with the LaLiga champions, who have agreed to pay him a €600k-a-month salary and guarantees that he will be a regular starter.

Rabiot has just one season remaining on his Paris Saint-Germain contract and is open to leaving the club as he is unsure how he will fit into new boss Thomas Tuchel’s plans. Now, according to Le Parisien, PSG are happy for Rabiot to conduct talks with Barcelona and will not stand in his way if he does decide to move.

Le Parisien go on to say talks are underway to take N’Golo Kanté to the Parc des Princes. The Chelsea midfielder is not agitating to leave the Premier League but Chelsea will need money to rebuild under Maurizio Sarri, who should be announced as their new manager any day now.

Selling Kanté would be an enormous risk but if a deal is possible it’s little wonder PSG are not too reluctant to let Rabiot go.
