Paris Saint-Germain needs a striker heading into next season. Mauro Icardi hasn’t consistently scored goals to go along with what Kylian Mbappé has produced this season.

Should Icardi and Mbappé depart this summer, one player that the capital club has their eyes on to provide goal support is OGC Nice Amine Gouiri. According to Foot Mercato, the Ligue 1 side greatly appreciates the 22-year-old.

Furthermore, Gouiri is represented by Alain Migliaccio, who also looks after the interests of former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane, PSG’s dream to succeed Mauricio Pochettino. Whether that’s a coincidence or there’s more to read remains to be seen.

The striker has made 27 appearances for Nice this season, scoring 11 goals and registering seven assists. Gouiri’s production has also caught the attention of clubs from abroad.

Gouiri is under contract with Nice until 2024, and the potential cost for the striker, Transfermarkt, puts his transfer value €45-million.
