Earlier today, reports emerged claiming that Kylian Mbappe will soon announce his decision that he will leave PSG in the summer amid strong links to Real Madrid.
The 25-year-old’s current contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires at the end of the season and despite the club’s best attempts, he has shown no indication of wanting to renew with the Ligue 1 champions.
Reports have suggested that Mbappe has already made his decision to join Real Madrid as a free agent and PSG are aware of it and a public announcement could be made in the days to come.
On top of that, earlier today, Real Madrid made a statement teasing a major announcement for tomorrow, which has only led to fuel speculations of Mbappe’s arrival even more.
As such, PSG manager Luis Enrique was asked if he was aware of the Frenchman’s decision. In response, the Spanish tactician said (h/t Fabrizio Romano):
“Kylian didn’t tell me anything so far.”
Even if Enrique is aware of any potential move to Real Madrid in the imminent future, he and PSG would obviously want to keep it under wraps until Mbappe comes out and speaks himself.
As for Real Madrid’s tease, their announcement tomorrow is expected to be regarding the club reaching a sponsorship agreement with HP, who will now have their logo embossed on the sleeves of the Merengues’ kits.
