After a breakout half-season, young Lyon forward Bradley Barcola inevitably attracted interest from Ligue 1 and beyond as his prolific partnership with Alexandre Lacazette nearly dragged Les Gones to a spot in Europe after a disastrous start to the campaign.

The 20-year-old scored five goals and provided nine assists, including three in the dramatic 5-4 win over Montpellier back in May, and went on to become one of the French U21 side’s key players at the Euros this summer.

RMC Sport indicate that new Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique has identified Barcola as a priority transfer target for the Ligue 1 champions. Sporting advisor Luís Campos is reportedly in agreement with his fellow Iberian, and the club have been in contact over a transfer for several weeks now.

Given PSG are due a forward line revamp this summer – Lionel Messi’s departure, potential sales of Hugo Ekitike and Kylian Mbappé – Barcola’s versatility is seen as a valuable asset. The Spanish manager has already spoken to the Frenchman. Lyon are not interested in selling for the time being, although their DNCG-imposed transfer restrictions – which they are appealing – could change the situation.
