As the summer transfer window nears its close, the big question is whether Rodrygo will leave Real Madrid amid fresh links to Liverpool and PSG. Moreover, one report reveals what the Parisians intend to do with this file.

PSG’s interest in Rodrygo remains uncertain. Josué Cassé of Foot Mercato reported that the Brazilian forward isn’t on their radar, contradicting Sky Sports Germany’s Florian Plettenberg, who also ruled out Tottenham Hotspur as a potential destination.

Still, Plettenberg recently noted that Liverpool and PSG closely monitor Rodrygo’s situation. PSG are reportedly looking for a top young winger, but any move may depend on how the final weeks of the transfer window unfold.

According to Defensa Central, PSG have decided not to pursue a deal for Rodrygo, closing one of the key pathways for him to leave Santiago Bernabéu this summer.

The report notes that Gonçalo Ramos’ continued presence at Parc des Princes leaves no room for the Brazilian forward, as the spot Rodrygo might have taken is now occupied by the Portuguese international. PSG also believes it’s not the right time to make an investment that would likely exceed the €100 million Real Madrid asks.

With PSG out of the picture, Rodrygo’s chances of moving this summer have dropped significantly. Several English clubs showed interest, but recent transfers haven’t worked in his favor. Liverpool and Arsenal have already signed other forwards, while Manchester City has yet to make an offer strong enough to convince the Real Madrid board.
