PSG make contact with Athletic Bilbao’s Nico Williams | OneFootball

According to a report by The Athletic, Paris Saint-Germain are interested in bringing Nico Williams (22) to the French capital this summer. The Athletic Bilbao left-winger has a contract running until 2027 but like all Spanish clubs, there is a release clause built into this agreement.

The exact price of value of release clause is not known, but The Athletic reports that it is thought to be valued at around €55 to €60 million. They further write that PSG have made “tentative” contact with the Spanish star who recently helped his nation win the Euros for a record-breaking fourth time.

Williams would fit PSG’s target this summer of bringing in a left-winger with the club also linked with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (23) and Rafael Leão (25) as part of their effort to replace Kylian Mbappé (25). Williams also meets the brief that has taken shape in Paris to focus on young talent with room for development.
