L’Équipe report that Paris Saint-Germain are looking to bring in a young manager who can bring a new perspective to the dressing room as Mauricio Pochettino’s replacement.

The club’s Qatari management have drawn up a shortlist which includes the likes of Belgium manager Roberto Martinez as former midfielder Thiago Motta. The prospect of Zinédine Zidane joining, though, is not on the cards.

Nice manager Christophe Galtier is also on the list, although his entourage have indicated that no direct contact has taken place with Les Parisiens. In any case, his proximity to Luis Campos, PSG’s new director of sport with whom he worked at Lille, would be an advantage.

The name of the favourite, however, has yet to be revealed. Other options could include managers in Campos’ Portuguese sphere of contacts, such as former Nantes and current Porto coach Sérgio Conceição or Sporting Club’s Ruben Amorim.
