Paris Saint-Germain would be ready to move for Inter-linked Borussia Monchengladbach striker Marcus Thuram in the event that they miss out on Eintracht Frankfurt striker Randal Kolo Muani.
This according to French news outlet L’Equipe, who report that the French champions have lined up the 25-year-old as one of their major alternatives to signing Muani if they are unable to sign the Eintracht player.
PSG are keen to sign an attacking player during the summer transfer window, and Eintracht striker Muani has emerged as their main target.
However, the 24-year-old is valued at €80-100 million by Eintracht, and it could be difficult for the Parisians to sign him.
Accordingly, Thuram is another player on PSG’s radar, considering the Frenchman, a World Cup teammate of Muani, would be available on a free transfer from Gladbach when his contract expires at the end of June.
Inter have also made Thuram a major target for the summer, whilst other teams in the Premier League, La Liga, and Serie A are also keen, as are Bayern.
With PSG entering the fray, the race to sign Thuram could get very crowded.
