Marco Verratti’s 11-year stay at Paris Saint-Germain has come to an end with his move to Qatari side Al-Arabi.
The clubs agreed on a €45m fee which sees the Italy international make the move ahead of the closure of Qatar’s transfer window next week.
New PSG boss Luis Enrique made it clear that the 30-year-old would not be part of his plans at the Parc des Princes going forward despite having three years left to run on his contract.
Verratti has been in Paris since joining from Pescara in 2012 and became an all-time PSG great during that time.
The midfielder leaves after making over 400 appearances and won 30 major honours.
