Mauricio Pochettino’s side, still high off the back of their march to the Champions League semi-finals in midweek, were slow out of the blocks here.

But they almost went ahead on 25 minutes as Pablo Sarabia struck a free kick square against the left-hand post.

Into the second half and things took a turn for the worst for the hosts as Denis Bouanga gave the away side the lead with 12 minutes to go.

Immediately though, Mbappé raced up the other end and scored an equaliser to give Mauricio Pochettino’s men hope.

And the French wonderboy thought he had got the winner on 90 minutes as he struck home a penalty.

That wasn’t the end of the drama however, as Romain Hamouma pounced at the far post to take the visitors back level.

Still though, this breathtaking encounter took another turn as with the very last kick of the game Mauro Icardi headed in to give PSG an amazing 3-2 win.
