PSG hope to reach an agreement with Napoli, for the €65m signing of Georgia international winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (23), as early as today, according to a report from L’Equipe. The 23-year-old Serie A champion has reportedly agreed personal terms with the Ligue 1 champions to make the switch to France over a four-and-a-half-year deal. The outlet adds that Kvaratskhelia’s signing could reach its final stage this Monday after a round of talks between PSG and Napoli.
L’Equipe adds that both parties are confident a deal can be swiftly sorted between Les Parisiens and I Partenopei with the hope that Kvaratskhelia could complete his signing in the middle of the week. PSG’s transfer fee for the Napoli winger reportedly ranges between €65m and €70m.
Les Parisiens are reportedly not in a rush to sign Kvaratskhelia as the latter won’t be able to play the last two Champions League games of PSG, against Manchester City on Wednesday, January 22, and Stuttgart a week later. However, Napoli would rather part ways with Kvaratskhelia to use the funds from his sale to sign his replacement.
