Over the summer, Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Marcin Bulka extended his contract with the capital club until 2025, which then led to the 21-year-old going out on loan to FC Cartagena, a club in Spain’s second division.

Bulka was supposed to use this loan as an opportunity to earn significant playing time to develop as a goalkeeper and allow for Les Parisiens to see if he has the potential to take over for Keylor Navas.

However, this season hasn’t gone as planned for the Poland international. Bulka has only made five appearances and will again not see playing time as Cartagena announced that Bulka has tested positive for the coronavirus.

After going on holiday break to Poland, Bulka’s last round of testing came back positive, and he will remain in his native country until he provides a negative result. It’s the second time the young goalkeeper had tested positive for the virus, the first time being when he was with PSG.
