PSG went six points clear in Ligue 1 with a late win over Nantes that will act as fuel for their crunch Champions League test.

Nantes proved to be a tough nut to crack for PSG in the opening exchanges.

The PSG midfield attempted to spring Kylian Mbappé in behind on multiple occasions, but the Nantes rearguard remained solid.

That wouldn’t last forever though, as Bradley Barcola cut in from the wing before firing a wicked shot in past Alban Lafont.

Nantes reclaimed parity after the break however thanks to Mostafa Mohamed, who leaped above the PSG defence to head home from a corner.

The visitors looked to be heading for an impressive point in Paris, but second half Randal Kolo Muani popped up in the dying minutes to slide home a loose ball in the Nantes box, setting the Parc des Princes alight.

The late winner ensures PSG move six points clear of second place Monaco. Next up for the French giants is a huge clash with Borussia Dortmund to keep their European hopes alive.
