Paris Saint-Germain were frustrated by Al-Nassr in the opening friendly of their Japan pre-season tour.

Luis Enrique’s side were held by the Cristiano Ronaldo-led Saudi Pro League outfit, who handed a second-half debut to new signing Alex Telles.

The French champions enjoyed their best chance midway through the first half when Warren Zaire-Emery fired into the side-netting from a tight angle.

Al-Nassr’s most likely opening fell to Ronaldo late in opening 45 minutes as he met a right-sided cross to force a good stop from Gianluigi Donnarumma.

PSG introduced summer recruit Manuel Ugarte as one of nine changes shortly after the hour mark as they aimed to break the deadlock in Osaka.

But Enrique’s new charges were unable to build on their maiden pre-season win ahead of a further two friendlies with Cerezo Osaka and Inter.
