A section of home fans in attendance at Paris Saint-Germain’s latest outing on Saturday night made use of the opportunity to take aim at their upcoming opponents on the continent.
PSG will of course be back in action in the Champions League in midweek.
Luis Enrique’s troops are primed to lock horns with La Liga heavyweights Barcelona, in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final tie between the clubs.
In the buildup to the clash, Enrique, owing largely to his Blaugrana past, has been highly respectful of his side’s opponents-in-waiting.
Late on Saturday, however, a contingent of PSG’s fanbase made crystal clear that they do not feel the same way about Barcelona.
En route to their side’s 1-1 Ligue 1 stalemate with Clermont, the home support at the Parc des Princes could be heard belting out chants of:
‘Puta Barca! Puta Barca!’
An early hint at the kind of atmosphere awaiting Xavi’s Barcelona in the French capital on Wednesday night…
