Paris Saint-Germain edged out Rennes to book their place in the Coupe de France final for a first time in three seasons.

Kylian Mbappé appeared set to break the deadlock after he won a penalty but saw his ensuing spot kick saved by Steve Mandanda.

However the France captain atoned for his miss just three minutes later by beating Mandanda with a bobbling effort from a solo run.

Luis Enrique’s side will now face Lyon at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy on 25 May.
