The hosts were on the front foot from the first whistle, pushing for the opener to bring the home crowd to their feet.

They were rewarded for the pressure inside 20 minutes when Portugal star Gonçalo Ramos fired the Parisians into the lead.

But Monaco levelled in the blink of an eye, as Takumi Minamino scored on the break to quiet the ongoing celebrations inside the Parc des Princes.

The visitors’ lead would not last until the break however, as Kylian Mbappé etched his name into PSG history, scoring from the penalty spot to become the top-scorer in Parc des Princes history, passing Edinson Cavani.

It would take until the final 20 minutes for PSG to explode to life and run away with tie, as two goals in two minutes from Ousmane Dembélé and Vitinha respectively blew the doors off of Monaco.

Folarin Balogun cut the lead back to two goals minutes later when he caught the PSG defence sleeping, but it was too little, too late from the visitors.

A stoppage time strike from Randal Kolo Muani capped off the onslaught. The victory is PSG’s sixth in a row in Ligue 1, as they extend their lead at the top to four points for now.
