Paris Saint-Germain have confirmed that Fabián Ruiz (27) has suffered a dislocated shoulder, however, there is no fracture for the Spaniard. The club may nonetheless look to sign a replacement during the January transfer window, according to RMC Sport.

Ruiz had to be stretchered off early on during PSG’s 2-0 victory over Le Havre AC on Sunday afternoon. The club have since confirmed that the player has suffered a dislocated shoulder, however, there is no fracture, as had been feared. PSG said further tests will be done in order to ascertain the severity of the injury and the period of absence. It is unlikely, however, that Ruiz will feature again before the end of the calendar year.

RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins is reporting that Les Parisiens may dip into the transfer market for a replacement. Should the further tests not prove reassuring, there is a possibility that Luis Enrique will look to reinforce the midfielder area during the January transfer window.
