PSG could rival Arsenal for Sacha Boey signing | OneFootball

Paris Saint-Germain could lose Nordi Mukiele (26) to Bayern Munich later this month, and according to Saber Desfarges, he could be replaced with Galatasaray’s Sacha Boey (23).

PSG are open to selling Mukiele, however, before they do so, they first want to sign a replacement. That task is perhaps proving more difficult than previously envisaged, however, one name on the list is Boey, who is once again excelling in Turkey this season, even putting his name in the conversation for a call-up to the France squad.

Arsenal showed interest in Boey last summer

Les Parisiens are a fan of Boey and would be interested in bringing him back to France, however, he could be judged too expensive an option. Boey would only be a backup to first-choice Achraf Hakimi, and the club are being prudent not to overspend in this position, especially given that they are targeting a centre-back and potentially a midfielder during the January transfer window.

The Ligue 1 champions’ pursuit is further complicated by Premier League interest, notably from Arsenal. The Gunners were among the clubs to have shown interest last summer, as Boey himself revealed.
