Paris Saint-Germain have announced the signing of Benfica striker Gonçalo Ramos.
The Portugal international moves to the Parc des Princes on an initial season-long loan with a mandatory purchase option.
Ramos is set to cost Luis Enrique’s side a reported €80m once his move from the Eagles becomes permanent in 12 months’ time.
“We are very happy to welcome Gonçalo Ramos as an exciting new striker in our PSG family,” said PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
“Gonçalo is a fantastic international player, who is young, hungry and fights for the team. It is these kinds of players who are the future of our great institution.”
Ramos arrives as PSG’s tenth signing of the summer and, crucially, their first striker amid growing uncertainty over Neymar and Kylian Mbappé’s futures.
The 22-year-old scored 27 times last season which saw him become Benfica’s youngest player to reach the 25-goal landmark since club legend Eusébio.
