PSG Coach Christophe Galtier Amid Skriniar Links: “I Expect Another Three Signings” | OneFootball

Paris Saint Germain coach Christophe Galtier has said that he wants three new signings amid links to Inter defender Milan Skriniar, according to a report in the Italian media.

Speaking during a press conference, via FCInternews, the French coach talked about what he expects from the transfer market.

PSG have just confirmed the signing of long-term AC Milan target Renato Sanches but the former Lille coach said that he still expects the club to sign another three players.

“I expect three more signings by August 31. After that it would be difficult. The president and the director Campos are working on it.

“I want a certain number of players in my squad, of a high level, who will guarantee a certain performance throughout the season, so as to create healthy competition for a starting place. I don’t know when they will arrive, but I know that the club is doing everything to have a very competitive squad.”

He did not name Milan Skriniar or go into specifics about positions but it is no secret that PSG would like to add the Slovakian centre-back to their squad. They just have reservations over the price tag.

They are likely to wait until much later in the window and then bid beneath what the Nerazzurri have been asking for in the hopes that Inter’s desire to raise money sees them accept the bid.
