PSG chief Leonardo enlists trusted agent to sound out Ronaldo; Real Madrid also watching | OneFootball

PSG sporting director Leonardo is making a move for unsettled Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo - however could face shock competition from Real Madrid.

Ronaldo is weighing up his future after Juve's dismal Champions League elimination by Lyon.

Word has reached Leonardo that Ronaldo is unsettled and he's quickly made contact with Italian agent Gabriele Giuffrida to test the ground. Giuffrida was key to PSG landing Mauro Icardi from Inter Milan last season.

However should Ronaldo push to leave Juve, PSG won't get a clear run at the veteran striker.

That's according to Gazzetta dello Sport's Alberto Cerruti, who said on Cadena SER: "In Italy, we don't talk a lot about Cristiano Ronaldo leaving Juventus at the moment.

"But, the statements he made before going on vacation opens the door to this possibility. I do not exclude that Cristiano Ronaldo can return to Real Madrid or go to France.

"In the second case, it is obviously a departure to PSG, as France Football indicated a few days ago."
