With Sead Kolašinac and Nacho Monreal set to miss the start of the season, Arsenal reportedly desire to fill their hole at left-back with Swiss star Ricardo Rodriguez.

However, French outlet Telefoot say PSG are another team who want to sign the left-back, as they want to bolster this season’s squad.

If Juventus’ Brazilian left-back Alex Sandro does not come to the French capital, PSG may be willing to pay €30m to sign Rodriguez from the San Siro.

Marcelo is rumoured to leave Real Madrid for Juventus, which would in-turn make Alex Sandro available in the transfer window.

With the English window closing on Thursday, Arsenal will be quick to make a decision, which could put pressure on PSG to decide on their future left-back sooner rather than later.
